Sapphire Soft Leaf Buffalo:                        

  • Deep green in colour
  • Perfect for areas that have both sun and shade.
  • Fine texture compared to other buffalo - Soft to touch
  • Once established Sapphires deep root system means this turf has high drought tolerance and requires minimal amounts of water  
  • Quick developing and rapid root growth promotes fast recovery from wear and tear
  • Excellent winter colour
  • Thrives in hot humid and desert areas 
  • Mowing heights: 35mm-45mm in full sun, and 50mm - 60mm in the shade.

Uses: Residential and commercial lawns, parks.

                                                                 Velvetene (salt tolerant turf):

  • Velvetene thrives on sandy coastal areas and grows extremely well on sand dunes
  • This particular turf's colour is a striking bright green with excellent year round colour retention
  • High tolerance to heavy traffic and low invasion lawn
  • Has a moderate tolerance to herbicides and a good resistance to disease and pests
  • Excellent spring green up rate with a good winter colour retention
  • The Velvetene will grow naturally in poorly drained clay soils, whether excessively wet, salty or somewhat dry, and salty beach sand
  • Does require at least 4 to 5 hours of direct sunlight each day

  Uses: Ideally suited for Coastal Areas; around Pools; Golf Courses; Race Tracks; Commercial Building and Home Lawns

Grand Prix (high performance turf): 

  • Dark green in colour, with a short leaf that is medium to fine in texture
  • Low fertility and watering requirements
  • High water tolerance
  • The leaf has a high lignin and fibre content ensuring exceptional wear resistance and quality
  • High stolon development guarantees rapid turf cover

Wintergreen Couch:

  • Semi-dwarf fine leaf improved selection of couch which forms a very dense low growth pattern
  • The colour is a lush deep to mid green and will generally hold its colour throughout the year if fertilized correctly
  • Performs well in high traffic areas and can tolerate frost in Winter
  • Has an upright growth habit but requires better drainage as the root system is less tolerant to long periods of inundation
  • Has a higher thatch characteristic than the Conquest, to keep thatching at a minimal level, we recommend once a year drop the blades on your mower and scalp the lawn
  • Can tolerate up to 30% shade per day
