Your turf probably isn't worn out. It's full.
Smell that won't shift, fibres gone flat, mould creeping along the shaded edge — that's almost never a turf failure. It's years of debris sitting in the infill layer, where a hose was never going to reach it.
What's going on out there
Synthetic grass drains, which is the whole problem — liquid goes through and everything else stays behind.
It smells, especially in humidity
Ammonia from pet urine binds to the infill and the backing. It doesn't evaporate, and warm wet air brings it back every time.
→ Extraction + odour treatmentIt's gone flat and matted
Traffic packs the infill down and lays the fibres over. The lawn looks tired and drains slower than it did.
→ Power broom + infill top-upGreen or black patches
Mould and algae take hold where the surface stays damp — shade, fence lines, under furniture and play gear.
→ Sanitiser + safe-pressure rinseColour looks off
Usually dust and organic film sitting on the fibre rather than UV fade. Fade is permanent; film isn't.
→ Deep clean, then reassessSeams lifting, edges curling
Movement in the base or failed adhesive. Worth catching early — it spreads and it's cheaper to fix small.
→ Seam & edge repairWater pooling after rain
Compacted or contaminated infill has closed up the drainage path through the backing.
→ Extraction + decompactionHow we clean
A multi-step process purpose-built for artificial grass, not repurposed from carpet cleaning or pressure washing.
Power broom, large debris removal
Mechanical brushing lifts the pile and breaks up surface debris, leaves and compacted matter before extraction.
Turf-specific vacuum extraction
Purpose-built vacuum removes loosened debris, sand and fine particles from deep in the infill. Standard vacuums can't reach this layer.
Stiff bristle brush agitation as required
Agitates matted fibres and dislodges compacted material sitting in the infill layer.
Safe-pressure rinse as required
Pressure set below fibre damage threshold — enough to flush loosened contaminants without disturbing infill or compromising fibre integrity.
Foam sanitiser application
Child and pet safe disinfectant applied via foam sprayer. The foam ensures even coating and extended contact time, critical for killing bacteria and mould spores throughout the infill.
What it costs
Published, because you shouldn't have to ring a stranger to find out whether you can afford a lawn clean. Every job starts with a free inspection — if your turf doesn't need doing yet, we'll tell you that instead.
Revive & Groom
The full five-step clean — power broom, extraction, agitation, rinse and sanitiser. Odour treatment included as standard. Areas up to 25m².
Revive & Groom Plus
Everything above, plus an additional heavy-duty treatment. For long-standing odour, multiple pets, or turf that's never been done.
On a schedule
Per visit, on a recurring interval. Debris never gets the chance to build up, so each clean is easier and the turf never gets back to bad.
Add-ons and other work
| Additional heavy-duty treatment, added to any clean | +$30 |
| Seam and edge repair | from $350 |
| Areas over 25m² | Send a photo for a number |
| Childcare, commercial and strata | See contract pricing |
Every clean includes odour treatment — it isn't an upsell you have to know to ask for. Prices are a starting point, not a trap: bigger yards, severe contamination and difficult access cost more, and we tell you the number before we start, not after.
No smell for two weeks, or we come back free.
Odour treatment is included in every clean, not sold as an extra. If the smell returns within 14 days, we re-treat at no charge. No forms, no argument — you ring, we come back.
What people notice afterwards
Not what they thought of us — what actually changed about the lawn.
"Top quality work, looks like new, no dog smells."
"Smell is gone, definitely recommend."
"Looks better than we originally installed it, and smells great."
"My tired synthetic lawn looks brand new. I could not be happier."
